ART.Cy welcomes Vladimir Tsesler

ART.Cy is happy to showcase the work of Vladimir Tsesler, a Belarusian artist and designer known for his innovative approach to contemporary art. His work often incorporates social and political themes, making him a notable figure in visual arts.

 

Tsesler graduated from the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute in 1979 and has since built a career recognized for its creativity and conceptual depth. One of his well-known projects, “Project of the Century. 12 of the XX,” featured representations of twelve major 20th-century artists in the form of eggs. The series was exhibited at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow (1999-2000), the Ludwig Museum at the Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg (2000), and the Venice Biennale (2005).

 

Following the 2020 Belarusian presidential election, Tsesler relocated to Cyprus, where he continues to be active in the international art scene. In 2021, he held his first solo exhibition abroad at Duży Pokój in Warsaw. His work is recognized for its distinct visual language and bold symbolism, often sparking thought and discussion.

 

ART.Cy is pleased to highlight Vladimir Tsesler’s artistic journey and contributions. His presence in Cyprus adds a new perspective to the local and international art landscape.
