ART.Cy is proud to announce that Mary Papademas, a renowned Greek Cypriot artist, will be showcasing her work at ART.Cy 2025. Known for her abstract paintings, sculptures, and wall installations, Papademas brings a modern interpretation of figurative art, focusing on the human form and its interaction with geometric surfaces.
Born in Limassol, Cyprus, she discovered her artistic passion in Stockholm, Sweden, leading to an international career that spans three continents and eight countries. Her work has been featured in prominent solo exhibitions, including "Free Spirit" at The Collection Gallery in Nicosia (2017), "Diverse" at The Stal Gallery in Muscat (2015), and "Equivus" at The Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi (2011), as well as group exhibitions across Europe and the Middle East.
Her diverse cultural experiences influence her artistic perspective, with color exploration often serving as the foundation of her creative process. Through her work, she invites audiences to engage with the complexities of the human experience.
