CODE OF CONDUCT

Welcome to the ART.Cy 2025 Art Conference and Exhibition! To ensure a pleasant and respectful environment for all visitors and for the protection of the exhibits, we kindly ask all participants to adhere to the following Code of Conduct. By entering the ART.Cy 2025 Conference & Exhibition at the Amara Hotel & Resort in Limassol, you explicitly agree to these terms. 

 

General Information

 

Admission

Entry to the Exhibition Space only is free of charge. This does not include access to the Art Lounge, the Art Party or the Masterclasses.

Hours

The opening hours of the Exhibition are on Friday, 11 April from 10:00 - 19:00 and on Saturday, 12 April from 10:00 - 19:00. 

 

Registration

All visitors must register their **name, contact information** (email or phone number), and their **anticipated date and time of visit** before entering. This helps us manage visitor flow and ensures security for everyone.

Languages

The official languages of ART.Cy are English and Greek. All exhibits will be labelled in these two languages, and all staff will be fluent in them. 

 

Visitor Guidelines

 

Age Restrictions

Children aged 4 and up are welcome, provided they are accompanied by an adult chaperone or family member and remain well-behaved throughout their visit. 

 

Personal Belongings 

Any bulky backpacks or similar items be left outside the exhibition space to avoid accidental damage to the art. Personal handbags may be admitted, providing they are of small, standard size.

 

Food and Beverage Policy 

The consumption of food and beverages is not allowed inside the exhibition space. Please enjoy refreshments in designated areas outside the exhibition. 

 

Smoking and Vaping

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited within the exhibition venue. 

 

Pet Policy

No pets are allowed inside the exhibition space, with the exception of certified service animals. 

 

Security Measures 

The venue and the entire Amara Hotel is monitored by security cameras to ensure the safety of visitors and the exhibits. By participating in this Conference & Exhibition, you consent to the storage of your personal information in the form of video footage by the hotel for security reasons, in line with Hotel Policy.

 

Respect for the Art and Others

 

Art Interaction

Do not touch the art exhibits, including paintings, sculptures, and installations. Even clean hands can cause damage. 

 

Photography

Photography of the exhibits may be permitted at the discretion of the exhibitor or curator. Please ask for permission before taking photos. 

 

Conduct and Decorum 

Please maintain proper decorum at all times. Respectful and courteous behavior is expected at all times. 

Dress respectfully for the event. Shoes are required for entry to the event. 

Please keep your mobile phones and other portable devices deactivated or on silent mode while in the event space and foyer. 

If you need to receive or make a telephone call, please do so outside the event space to avoid disturbing the speakers, exhibitors or visitors. 

Please keep your voice down and speak at a reasonable volume to avoid disturbing others.

 

Respect for Visitors 

Be mindful of other guests and avoid disruptive behaviour, including loud conversations or phone use. 

 

Entry and Access

 

Congestion Management 

During peak hours, the organizers may delay entry to manage visitor numbers and ensure a comfortable experience for all. 

 

Right to Refuse Entry

The organizers reserve the right to deny entry to individuals who fail to follow this Code of Conduct or exhibit disruptive behaviour. 

 

Use Policy 

Visitors under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances will not be allowed entry into the exhibition or the hotel premises. 

 

Damage and Liability

Any deliberate or willful damage or theft of items caused to the hotel, the art exhibits, or any other property will result in legal action and the pursuit of financial damages to cover the costs of repair or replacement. 

 

Personal Belongings 

Navigator Consulting & Innovation Partners Ltd. and its staff are not liable for the potential loss or theft of personal items that may occur during the event. Visitors are advised to keep their belongings secure at all times. Every effort has been made to maintain a high level of security and safety throughout the event.
